Does Taare Zameen Par stand a chance at winning the Oscars?

Kunal Kapoor: "It's an absolutely wonderful film and deserves to go. It's beautifully written enacted and directed. Whether it finally wins or not would depend on the competition. I'm sure there will be wonderful films from all over the world."

A close shave for two hunks

It was part of their macho appeal – Milind Soman’s rugged beard and wild, long locks, and Kunal Kapoor’s urbane but sexy stubble.

But the two hunks have recently shaved off their stubble and chosen to go for the smooth, clean look. What made them do it was Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. “I’ve never had any problem playing with my looks. We’re actors, we need to meet the demands of different characters. And with Gillette, the best thing is that it doesn’t scratch your skin. When I decided to go for a makeover, it’s the only one I could think of,” says Kunal.

On Razor’s Edge

The charmingly dishevelled Kunal Kapoor is ditching his sexy stubble, persuaded, possibly, by a lucrative deal to go clean shaven. At the launch of a new Gillette razor blade at the Shangri-La Hotel in Delhi, Kapoor and Milind Soman slathered on foam and sexed-up shaving. “I’ve been considering the clean-shaven look since someone told me it’s the fastest way to get girls. Let’s see if I get lucky,” Kapoor said cheekily.

Surprise Surprise Surprise!!! Filmmakers always have a way to stump their audience, and WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR is no different. Kunal Kapoor is the surprise star of WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR. He appears towards the second half of the film. He plays the role of Amrita Rao's husband.

His identity was kept under wraps by the producer of the film.

Kan't have enough of Kunal

If we say Kunal Kapoor is Kool, you’d wonder what's new? Or that he's got a charming persona and you'd think haven't we figured that out already?

But that he is warm, witty and extremely courteous – who doesn't even reply to an SMS without starting with a “How u doin?” or end it with a “take care” – is definitely not something you knew, right? And if that just doubled his charm for you, it’s important to mention that he’s single too! But that’s only till “I find a girl who’s simple and genuine. Simplicity attracts me. There’s anyway so much drama in our lives that I’d not want any drama in my relationship,” he insists.

Kunal is a foodie

Kunal Kapoor was in Delhi recently and loved the trip. As we waited for him to come and meet us, we were told that he was having lunch.

The actor, who didn’t take long to come for the interaction, looked at a plate of sandwiches on the table. When offered, he warmly refused and said, “Although I am a foodie, I just had lunch and can’t have anything more.” Well, Kunal, not your fault, the sandwiches looked very scrumptious indeed.
